How It Works
How It Works
Getting Started
Let your dog get comfortable with the sound before you need it. A few quick taps during relaxed moments, followed by a treat, teaches them the noise isn't a threat — just background noise. Two or three sessions a day for the first week is plenty.
In the Moment
Step 1 — Break the cycle. Hold the button down the second barking starts.
Step 2 — Redirect. Say one word, the same word every time — "Enough" or "Settle."
Step 3 — Reinforce. Silence gets rewarded immediately. Timing matters more than the treat itself.
Less Is More
One 10-second burst is enough. Overusing it dulls the effect — think reset button, not remote control.
Switch It Up
Dogs habituate. If mode one stops landing, flip to mode two before your dog tunes it out completely.
The real engine here isn't the device — it's the pattern: Interrupt → Cue → Reward.
Do that consistently and the behavior change sticks long after you've put the tool down.

Stop Barking in Seconds
Three moves, one goal: a calmer dog.
Most owners tell us the same thing — after a couple weeks, they hardly need it anymore.
A trigger sets your dog off. Barking kicks in.
Hit the button.
The sound cuts through the noise in their head and pulls their focus back to you.
The instant they go quiet, that's your cue to reward.
Repeat it enough times and they start connecting the dots themselves.
End result: you're reaching for it less, and your dog's trusting you more.
100% Pain Free
Shock Collars Punish. Hushpetz Rewards.
One relies on fear. The other builds trust.
Hushpetz interrupts with sound, not pain. A quick press when the barking starts breaks their focus.
Once they're calm, that's your moment — praise, a pat, a treat, right away.
Stay consistent and it clicks fast: your dog learns exactly which behavior gets the good stuff.
OUR MISSION
